alias Filip Komorowski contacted us yesterday with the question if we like to post some of his stuff on our site. And yes of course we do! The typographer and designer from Warsaw, Poland is a young talented guy made by the streetart scene and fascinated by playing with type. As an all around creative doing music, illustrations, typography and graffiti, he is always powered by sourrounding influences. We love to support young talents and if you are one with amazing artworks, feel free to write us!
Today we spotted Dominique Falla, desginer and artist from Australia. Inspired by 20 years of illustration, she tought about handdrawing and doing more with typography. The result is an opus of amazing works done with filaments and nails. She says:”The idea was born because I wanted to enter the Positive Posters competition and I wanted to do some wound string, so the concept of an interlocking network was born.” As beeing a crafty kid, it is no wonder that she is always in the making phase to discover new things and materials. It’s all about tactile typography and digital aesthetic. Enjoy her amazing work!
The work of London based illustrator and typographer Charles Williams is astonishing. He works with 3D typography and often uses real materials to put together his artwork. Famous fot his work for Nike, Adidas, Converse, VW, BBc and many more he designs extraordinary forms and combines them with his very colourful character. Some of the works could be read at second sight, but this is what makes them up to a higher perspective of typography. We love the way he experiments with different materials and views to create a very unique masterpiece.
