Hello December, we play it hard now! The christmas business is starting and we give you some very nice inspirations on this first advent weekend. Forget about the problems and go out running. The only limit is you and New York is not far away. Be thankful fo what you got until you have it and enjoy the sunday. At least we’ve got that Jazz like tribe called quest.
with Duncan Sham the UK born bred designer who floats between New York and Bejing with his 3 dimensional typography worlds. He works with different media from digitally to handmade for his beautiful handcrafted peices. His main concept is story telling, humor and quirkiness. Clients such as Wrigleys, Computer Arts, Blackberry, Lacoste and Adidas love his work. He could really bring some magic in a small picture but don’t forget the great investment he gives to every single artwork.
"After the last model had exited from the box, the sides of another box on the runway smashed down to reveal the naked figure of the fetish writer Michelle Olley reclining on a lace-covered sofa made from huge cow horns. Based on Joel Peter Witkin’s photograph ‘Sanitarium’ of a twenty-stone middle-aged woman, connected via a breathing tube to a stuffed monkey. Olley’s bandaged head was covered in a pig-mask in ghostly grey, a breathing pipe apparently protruding from her mouth, while her body was covered in large, fragile moths. Some were attached to her, others fluttered loose in the box. In the staging of this show McQueen oscillated between beauty and horror, turning conventional ideas of beauty upside down."
